This course is an introduction to Discrete Mathematics and basic Combinatorics.

The final test is open book. Electronic devices may not be used. Range: The material from Chapters 7 - 11 of the textbook that was covered in the lecture and in the lecture notes.

Grading

We will have weekly homework assignments, one mid-term test, and a final exam.
The grades will be accorded the following weights.
Attendance/Homework: 10%
Mid-term: 40%
Final: 50%

Homework

I will assign homework every Thursday for the material covered that week.
It will be due to hand in on the following Tuesday.

Tests

The midterm test is scheduled for the week October 17-21. The final will be in December and its range will cover all material of the semester.
